JOB SUMMARY
The role is responsible for representing the Finance function in system transformation initiatives, new product launches, and cross‑functional technology releases. The incumbent will act as the single‑point owner for Finance BRDs, UAT governance, defect management, and system design quality across policy administration, claims, and distribution systems. The role ensures regulatory compliance, control integrity, and seamless go‑lives through strong stakeholder coordination with IT, Operations, and Product teams. This position plays a critical role in strengthening finance systems, reducing operational risk, and enabling scalable growth.

1. Finance Technology Enablement UAT Governance
- Represent the Finance function in creation offunctional and system Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for enhancements, automation, and new initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and the technology team to understand, explain, and translate business requirements into development-ready solutions
- Designcomprehensive test scenarios, executeUAT test cases, and ensure Finance sign‑off within defined timelines.
- Publish and trackdaily UAT dashboards covering execution status, defects, risks, and go‑live readiness.
- Ensurehigh‑quality system design and testing with strong control perspective covering regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, and error reduction.
- Coordinate closely with IT and Operations teams forseamless execution and timely go‑lives, even under stringent timelines.
2. System Design Ownership, Defect Management Project Execution
- Own end‑to‑endFinance system requirements for both Finance‑specific and cross‑functional initiatives as an activeCFT member.
- Lead Finance system readiness fornew product launches, ensuring completeness of requirements and downstream impact assessment.
- Manage system design quality and defect lifecycle acrossTejas (Policy Claims System),Group Asia (Group Policy Administration System), andmyAgent (Distribution Management System).
- Driveproactive defect discussions with Finance users, cross‑patch users, and IT teams until logical closure.
- Demonstrate strongfollow‑up discipline and project management skills to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
3. Stakeholder Management, Analytics Finance Representation
- Act as theFinance SPOC in organization‑level forums related toCompliance, Product Governance, and IT Releases.
- Represent Finance confidently inreviews, calls, meetings, and forums, supported by structured analysis and clear articulation.
- Apply advancedMS Excel skills, AI prompt engineering, and data analysis to support testing, reconciliations, dashboards, and decision‑making.

Desired qualification and experience:
- Post Graduate / MBA or Graduate with6–8 years of experience in Life Insurance / Banking / Financial Services sector
- Sound knowledge ofbasic accounting and General Ledger structures, preferably in the Insurance domain
- Strong understanding ofLife Insurance lifecycle, products, and finance processes
- Hands‑on experience in drivingfinance system projects, BRD Writing, UAT execution, and automation initiatives with cross‑functional teams
- Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, result orientation, and strong analytical ability
- Proven team player with ability to handle pressure and deliver in a dynamic, competitive environment
