Lead QA Engineer - ETL Testing Bangalore & Chennai - Work From Client Location Exp: 6 to 9 years Budget: Max CTC 23LPA Shift Timing: 11 AM to 8 PM
The Purpose of This Role As a Lead QA Engineer, you will focus on building test automation solutions for Java and ETL testing of highly available systems. You will work directly with Software Developers, Architects, and business stakeholders to translate business vision and designs into sustainable technical solutions. You will be responsible for developing test automation solutions for complex software applications, ensuring they meet quality standards, maintain consistency, deliver high performance, and provide responsive user experiences across supported devices.
The Value You Deliver This Lead QA Engineer will play a key role within Fidelity's Workplace Investments Digital Platforms team. You will work closely with Scrum Masters, Systems Analysts, Architects, Developers, and QA engineers to design, build, and deliver end-to-end Quality Engineering solutions that support Fidelity's digital platforms. You will also collaborate closely with development teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include translating business and system requirements into test strategies, test scenarios, and test plans. Designing, developing, documenting, and maintaining automation scripts and testing tools. Following Quality Engineering best practices while developing automation frameworks. Applying BDD and TDD concepts to validate software solutions. Adhering to industry-standard Quality Engineering practices. Delivering accurate, maintainable automation code and software utilities. Measuring and reporting key QA metrics. Collaborating with technical teams to improve processes, establish best practices, and enhance the maintainability of automation platforms.
