We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager with strong automotive industry experience and proven project leadership capabilities. This role will be responsible for managing project scope, timelines, budgets, quality targets, stakeholder expectations, and customer relationships while ensuring compliance with Autoliv processes and standards.
The ideal candidate combines technical understanding, project management expertise, and the ability to lead teams across multiple locations and business functions.
Define project goals, including financial, scheduling, and quality objectives.
Establish project plans, milestones, toll-gates, and deliverables in accordance with Autoliv processes.
Select and coordinate project core team members in partnership with functional managers.
Track project progress and implement corrective actions when required.
Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
Ensure compliance with Autoliv quality systems and project management processes.
Monitor risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive implementation of corrective measures.
Escalate project issues appropriately and proactively.
Serve as the primary customer interface for project-related matters.
Represent project interests in customer and supplier meetings.
Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication and reporting.
Drive professional change management and negotiate changes or claims with customers and suppliers.
Provide regular project status updates through approved reporting tools and processes.
Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and accountability.
Lead cross-functional teams across multiple locations and business verticals.
Support a "One Autoliv" mindset through strong partnership and engagement.
Inspire, challenge, and enable teams to achieve business objectives.
8-11 years of experience in the automotive industry.
5-6 years of experience in Project Management.
Experience managing cross-functional engineering and manufacturing projects.
Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Excellent Project Management skills.
Strong ownership, commitment, and execution focus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Manufacturing experience within the automotive sector preferred.
Working knowledge of CAD and CAE environments to effectively manage engineering projects.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from a reputed institution.
