Applications are invited from suitable candidates for appointment as Pharmacist in a retail pharmacy established under the Government of India’s "Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojna" (PMBJP) scheme, committed to provide affordable, quality generic medicines to all. The pharmacy is linked to a multi-speciality polyclinic at a prime location.
Job Responsibilities:
- Dispense medicines as per prescriptions, ensuring proper dosage and instructions for use
- Provide information to customers on the safe use of medications
- Maintain accurate records of stock, orders, and patient prescriptions.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy and drug regulations
- Educate patients on medication management and lifestyle adjustments
Requirements:
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Registered with the Pharmacy Council.
- Knowledge of generic medicines and a commitment to affordable healthcare.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work on Govt POS soft ware for drug sales.
- Basic computer knowledge (excel/ word) is essential.
