Job Summary: The Placement Executive will be responsible for helping students find job and internship opportunities in logistics industry. This role involves counseling students, improving their chances of getting hired, and assisting with internships and job placements.
Responsibilities:
1.Corporate Relationship & Coordination:
Ø Build new relationships with companies and maintain current partnerships.
Ø Reach out to companies for campus or online interviews.
Ø Handle placement logistics like travel and accommodation.
Ø Follow up with companies for placement confirmations and joining dates.
Ø Track all placements systematically or through software.
Ø Share eligible student data with companies based on job requirements.
Ø Arrange campus interview facilities (auditorium, labs, interview rooms).
Ø Share industry feedback and trends with students and leadership.
2. Internships & Placements:
Ø Arrange summer internships with companies likely to offer full-time placements later.
Ø Collect job descriptions from companies and share them with students on time.
Ø Organize and improve the pre-placement offers (PPOs), increasing the number of PPO companies and their offered packages.
Ø Improve the quality of job placements, focusing on better companies and higher salaries each year.
3. Career Guidance:
Ø Regularly counsel students to increase job acceptance rates.
Ø Help students align their skills and expectations with available job opportunities.
Ø Guide students before interviews to help them succeed.
Ø Assist in student assessments to identify potential for placements.
Ø Support students throughout the hiring process, from interview to onboarding.
Ø Provide career guidance through individual meetings, group sessions, and emails.
Ø Collaborate with the Student Placement Committee, faculty, and department heads.
4. Training & Skill Development:
Ø Organize seminars and talks by industry experts.
Ø Plan and execute logistics skill training programs for BBA ( Logistics Management).
Ø Arrange industry visits, guest lectures, and on-the-job training for students.
Ø Organize soft skills, communication, and interview skill training for students.
Ø Design and deliver training sessions with leadership.
5. General Management:
Ø Achieve personal targets for recruitment, internships, and live projects.
Ø Coordinate with the team to meet overall placement goals.
Ø Engage with corporates for events like guest lectures, workshops, and competitions.
Ø Work with alumni, faculty, administration, and marketing teams to meet university objectives.
Ø Develop creative strategies to attract industry partners.
6. Other Attributes:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High integrity and reliability.
- Available for important projects, 24/7.
- Knowledge of logistics industry trends is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Able to handle a wide range of student requirements across various fields.
- Willing to travel as needed for professional duties.
Educational Qualification: Post-graduate degree in any field.
Experience: 2-5 years, with a university placement role.
Salary: 25,000 – 40,000 Per Month
