QA Test Engineer – US Healthcare Provider Portal (Microsoft Power Platform)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QA Test Engineer to validate a US Healthcare Provider Portal developed using the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in healthcare application testing, functional and integration testing, Power Platform applications and Provider Management processes.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality delivery of provider-facing applications supporting provider enrollment, credentialing, claims inquiry, prior authorization, referrals, member eligibility, and secure communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze user needs and prepare test scenarios and test cases using Agile methodology
- Create and maintain test artifacts for release testing (test cases, test data, execution results)
- Participate in execution of release testing (SIT, regression, E2E)
- Support test leads in meeting timelines and schedules for testing efforts
- Execute test cases based on defined test plans and acceptance criteria
- Follow and adhere to established QA standards, processes, and procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and vendors as needed
- Assist in test environment setup and validation activities
- Follow standard testing methodologies and organizational QA frameworks
- Participate in release-specific testing activities and coordination
- Update and execute test cases and test data as per requirements
- Participate in test case reviews, walkthroughs, and peer reviews
- Support release validation and deployment verification activities
- Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify, log, and track defects through to closure
- Work with BA/Dev teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues
- Perform basic troubleshooting and issue analysis
- Work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Experience required:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as QA/ Sr QA with strong US Healthcare / claims/Provider Management domain expertise
- Good experience in writing SQL statements for data validations
- Ability to design, develop, test and debug tests cases/Scripts/plans/strategy documents
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year Experience in Power platform Testing including Power Pages, Dataverse and Power Automate workflows

- Document and interpret business and technical requirements for testing utilizing various development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Iterative, Waterfall, etc.)
- Effective communication skills to articulate testing result data to multiple audiences.
- Strong web services testing experience using Postman or Soup UI.
- Working knowledge of industry standard automated testing tools, practices, and software and/or Performance testing tools.
- Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and team members
