Job Summary: Develop advanced automated test systems for automotive ECUs using LabVIEW and NI hardware platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test systems for automotive ECUs and components.
- Develop and debug LabVIEW applications for test automation, data acquisition, and measurement control.
- Integrate hardware and software interfaces (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, RS-232, PXI, PCI, DAQ, etc.) into test systems.
- Collaborate with hardware, validation, and systems engineers to define test requirements and system architecture.
- Develop test scripts, procedures, and documentation according to automotive quality standards.
- Support debugging and root cause analysis of test system and DUT (Device Under Test) failures.
- Participate in continuous improvement of test frameworks and tools for efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure test system calibration, data integrity, and compliance with company and customer standards.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 3–7 years of hands-on experience in LabVIEW development (Certified LabVIEW Developer preferred).
- Strong understanding of ATE systems and hardware integration.
- Experience with DAQmx, PXI, PCI, cRIO, or CompactDAQ systems.
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
- Knowledge of measurement and instrumentation principles.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- NI Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD).
- Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) or End-of-Line (EOL) testing.
- Familiarity with data management systems and test report automation.
