Experienced Test Lead to manage and lead the software testing activities across projects. The candidate will be responsible for defining test strategies, coordinating with development and business teams, ensuring product quality, and mentoring QA team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the testing team and assign testing activities.
- Prepare test strategy, test plans, and test schedules.
- Review business requirements and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
- Ensure functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing are completed successfully.
- Track defects and ensure timely closure.
- Monitor testing progress and provide status reports to management.
- Identify risks and provide mitigation plans.
- Design and Development of test automation frameworks
- Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers/testers.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
- Experience in manual and automation testing.
- Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Rally or AzureDevops.
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing various automation frameworks
- Understanding of API, performance, and security testing concepts.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing/QA.
- 1–3 years of experience in leading testing teams.
- ISTQB certification is an added advantage.
