We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in MERN stack development, with strong expertise in Node.js, React.js, and Nest.js. This is a technical plus managerial role, ideal for someone who can lead development teams, make architecture decisions, and ensure high-quality delivery while communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical depth, leadership ability, and excellent English communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications using Node.js, React.js, and Nest.js
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers
- Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality development standards
- Architect backend and frontend systems for performance, scalability, and security
- Manage and coordinate development tasks across the team
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, QA, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and technical estimations
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions
- Ensure proper documentation of architecture, codebase, and development processes
- Communicate clearly with clients, team members, and management in English
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Node.js
- React.js
- Nest.js
- MongoDB
- Express.js
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and backend best practices
- Experience with frontend architecture, reusable components, and state management
- Good knowledge of database design, performance optimization, and security practices
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment environments
- Proven experience in team leadership and project coordination
- Ability to manage developers and ensure timely delivery of tasks
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong English communication skills – both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in client-facing roles
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with Docker, AWS, or other cloud platforms
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and automated testing practices
- Ability to balance hands-on coding with team management responsibilities
