We are looking for a skilled Embedded Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded firmware and software for microcontroller-based products. You will work closely with hardware, software, and product teams to deliver reliable and high-quality embedded solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and debug embedded firmware in C/C++.
- Develop software for ARM Cortex-M, STM32, ESP32, AVR, PIC, or similar microcontrollers.
- Implement and troubleshoot communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, and Ethernet.
- Develop applications using RTOS (FreeRTOS or similar) and bare-metal programming.
- Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation.
- Optimize firmware for performance, memory usage, and power consumption.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers during product development and testing.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system validation.
- Maintain technical documentation and support production and field issues.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous product improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in embedded firmware development.
- Strong programming skills in Embedded C/C++.
- Experience with ARM-based microcontrollers (STM32, NXP, TI, ESP32, etc.).
- Good understanding of embedded hardware and digital electronics.
- Experience with communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and USB.
- Familiarity with debugging tools including JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Embedded Linux.
- Knowledge of BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LoRa, or MQTT.
- Experience with bootloaders, OTA firmware updates, and secure firmware development.
- Familiarity with Python or shell scripting for automation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing is a plus.
