Position: AV Presales Engineer (Audio-Visual Systems)
Location: Andheri Mumbai
Experience: Minimum 2-3 Years in the AV Industry
Qualification: Graduate (bachelor’s degree – Mechatronics Engineering preferred)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AV Presales Engineer who can effectively bridge the gap between client needs and technical solutions. You will be responsible for supporting the sales and engineering teams with your technical expertise, creating winning AV solutions, and ensuring excellent client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Sales and Engineering teams to design AV solutions based on client requirements.
- Prepare accurate and detailed Bill of Materials (BoM), solution architecture, and technical documentation.
- Engage with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) for solution discussions, pricing, and technical clarifications.
- Make technical presentations to clients, explaining AV solutions, design rationale, and answering queries.
- Provide technical support to project and support engineers, ensuring the delivered solution matches the design.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the AV industry.
- Assist in responding to RFPs, RFQs, and technical submissions.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in AV (Audio-Visual) presales, design, or implementation.
- Strong technical knowledge in AV systems such as Displays, Audio Systems, Video Conferencing Solutions, Control Systems, Signal Management, and Room Acoustics.
- Experience in working with brands like Q SYS,Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Shure, Poly, Cisco, Barco, etc., is a strong advantage.
- Ability to read and understand AV drawings and schematics.
- Proficient in preparing proposals, BoM, and technical presentations.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and client-handling skills.
- Must be based in Mumbai and willing to work full-time
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
