Vertical 3D Tech is a leading 3D content production company specializing in photorealistic 3D models, interactive product configurators, augmented reality (AR) experiences, and digital commerce solutions for global brands. We help businesses transform online shopping through immersive and interactive 3D experiences.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Three.js Developer to build high-performance, interactive 3D web applications and product experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop interactive 3D web applications using Three.js and WebGL.
- Build and optimize high-performance product viewers and product configurators.
- Integrate 3D assets, including GLB, GLTF, USDZ, and FBX files, into web applications.
- Collaborate closely with 3D artists to optimize models for real-time rendering.
- Implement realistic lighting, materials, animations, and camera controls.
- Optimize applications for desktop and mobile devices.
- Integrate Three.js applications with React (experience with React Three Fiber is a plus).
- Debug rendering issues and improve application performance and loading times.
- Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and reusable code.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with Three.js development.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
- Solid understanding of WebGL fundamentals.
- Experience working with GLTF and GLB file formats.
- Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
- Strong understanding of lighting, textures, materials, geometry, UV mapping, and camera systems.
- Experience optimizing real-time 3D applications.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with React and React Three Fiber.
- Knowledge of Node.js.
- Experience developing product configurators.
- Familiarity with Shopify and other e-commerce platforms.
- Experience working with WebXR, USDZ, Quick Look, and Scene Viewer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- A strong portfolio showcasing Three.js, WebGL, or interactive 3D projects.
Nice to Have
- Experience creating e-commerce and AR-based experiences.
- Experience working on furniture, fashion, footwear, or consumer product visualization projects.
- Familiarity with AWS, Vercel, or similar cloud platforms.
Employment Type
Initially, this position will be offered on a freelance, part-time basis. After one to two months, candidates who demonstrate strong performance and align well with the company's requirements may be offered a full-time position with the mentioned salary package.
