Responsible for managing public relations, government and statutory department coordination, factory administration, employee welfare, local stakeholder communication, and general administrative activities to ensure smooth and compliant factory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact between the factory and government departments, local authorities, statutory bodies, and other external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with departments such as Labour, Factory Inspectorate, ESI, EPFO, Pollution Control Board, Fire & Rescue, FSSAI, Local Municipality/Panchayat, and other relevant authorities.
- Handle factory-related licences, registrations, renewals, inspections, notices, permissions and official correspondence.
- Coordinate with government officials and inspectors during factory inspections, audits and statutory visits.
- Maintain proper records of government communications, inspection reports, notices, licences and compliance documents.
- Support HR in employee documentation, attendance, joining formalities, welfare activities and labour-related matters.
- Coordinate with contract labour agencies and ensure required documentation and statutory compliance are maintained.
- Assist in managing worker grievances, employee welfare issues and local labour-related matters.
- Maintain good relations with the local community, neighbouring establishments, authorities and other stakeholders.
- Handle general factory administration including transportation, accommodation, housekeeping, security, canteen and other support services.
- Coordinate with the Head Office on administrative requirements, approvals, statutory matters and factory-related issues.
- Assist in organising meetings, official visits, employee awareness programmes and training programmes.
- Ensure proper maintenance of administrative registers, files, correspondence and records.
- Monitor factory facilities and report administrative or infrastructure-related issues to the Manager.
- Support management during emergency situations, labour issues, inspections and other critical administrative matters.
- Prepare periodic reports on administrative activities, statutory matters, pending renewals, inspections and compliance status.
- Perform any other administrative and coordination duties assigned by the management.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification: Graduate in any discipline; qualification in HR, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field will be an advantage.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in factory administration, public relations, HR administration or a similar role.
- Experience in a seafood processing / food processing / manufacturing factory will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of dealing with government departments and statutory authorities.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, email and documentation.
- Should be willing to travel locally for government office visits and official coordination.
- Fluent in English & Tamil. Knowledge in Other Languages will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
