Role Summary
We are seeking an IT Support Intern to join our IT Infrastructure team in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Key Responsibilities
- IT Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide first-line desktop and remote support for administrative staff and plant floor operators.
- Set up, deploy, and maintain workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Perform routine software installations, OS updates, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Manufacturing Floor Support
- Assist in supporting specialized hardware on the production floor (e.g., industrial PCs, touch panels, label printers, and barcode scanners).
- Learn basic user administration (Active Directory, M365 account creation, password resets).
- Compliance & Asset Management
- Log all support requests, actions taken, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware assets and software licenses.
- Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and internal IT SOPs regarding data integrity and security.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Currently pursuing or completed a Degree/Diploma in CS, IT, or Computer Engineering.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, basic networking (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi), and hardware assembly.
