Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Head – Program Management Office (PMO) to establish and lead the organization's project governance and monitoring framework. The role is responsible for developing systems to monitor project performance, standardizing reporting mechanisms, improving project visibility, and ensuring successful execution across multiple programs.
The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams, department heads, and senior leadership to drive timely delivery, cost efficiency, quality, and overall project performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesPMO Strategy & Governance
- Establish and lead the Program Management Office (PMO) framework across the organization.
- Develop standardized project governance processes, reporting structures, and monitoring systems.
- Implement best practices for project planning, execution, and performance management.
Project Monitoring & Performance
- Define project KPIs and performance benchmarks in collaboration with business and project leaders.
- Monitor project progress against scope, timelines, budgets, quality, and operational objectives.
- Identify risks, delays, and performance gaps while recommending corrective actions.
Reporting & Analytics
- Design dashboards and reporting systems to provide accurate project insights.
- Generate periodic project performance reports for senior management.
- Analyze project data to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Risk & Compliance Management
- Develop project risk assessment and mitigation frameworks.
- Monitor project compliance with internal processes, contractual obligations, and organizational standards.
- Coordinate with Finance and relevant departments to review project controls where required.
Project Lifecycle Management
- Support project planning, initiation, execution, and closure activities.
- Establish knowledge management practices to capture lessons learned and improve future project delivery.
- Promote process standardization across projects.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of PMO professionals and project analysts.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and a performance-oriented work environment.
- Support capability development through coaching and process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- MBA or Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in Project Management or PMO, including leadership responsibilities.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Strong understanding of project governance frameworks.
- Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting systems.
- Ability to identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Leadership experience in cross-functional and multi-location project environments.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per year
