Job Description
ZAKKAA Home Decor is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee procurement operations and ensure the timely availability of quality materials at competitive prices. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in sourcing, vendor development, cost negotiation, inventory planning, and procurement within the Electronics, Electrical Products, Furniture, or Air Cooler industry.
The Purchase Manager will work closely with production, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
- Source and negotiate with vendors for raw materials, components, packaging, and other production requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with production and planning teams to ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor agreements, and MIS reports.
- Ensure timely resolution of supplier-related issues.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 7–12 years of experience in procurement or purchase management.
- Prior experience in the Electronics, Electrical Products, Furniture, Steel, Home Appliances, or Air Cooler industry is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Good understanding of supply chain management and inventory control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
