We are looking for a responsible, adaptable, and enthusiastic Substitute Teacher to step in for regular teachers when they are absent. The candidate should be able to maintain a positive classroom environment and ensure that students continue their learning effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct classes according to the lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
- Supervise and manage students in a safe and positive classroom environment.
- Deliver age-appropriate lessons and learning activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage respectful behaviour.
- Assist students with their classwork and learning needs.
- Take attendance and maintain basic classroom records.
- Ensure students follow school rules and safety procedures.
- Communicate important classroom updates to the regular teacher.
- Work cooperatively with teachers, coordinators, and school staff.
- Adapt quickly to different grade levels, subjects, and classroom situations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject is preferred.
- Teaching experience in a school environment is an advantage.
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
- Flexible, patient, confident, and dependable.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classes and teaching requirements.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
