About the Role
Dantam Dental Clinics is looking for an experienced and compassionate Pedodontist to provide high-quality dental care to infants, children, and adolescents. The ideal candidate should be skilled in managing pediatric patients and creating a comfortable, child-friendly dental experience.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations for pediatric patients.
Diagnose and treat common dental conditions in children.
Perform restorations, pulpectomies, pediatric extractions, space maintainers, and preventive treatments.
Provide fluoride application, sealants, and other preventive dental care.
Manage anxious and uncooperative children using appropriate behavior-management techniques.
Develop and explain treatment plans to parents/guardians.
Educate parents and children about oral hygiene, diet, and preventive dental care.
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
Coordinate with general dentists and other specialists for complex cases.
Follow strict infection-control, sterilization, and clinical safety protocols.
Maintain a positive and child-friendly patient experience.
Requirements
MDS in Pedodontics / Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry from a recognized institution.
Valid Dental Council registration.
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
Strong pediatric patient-management skills.
Excellent communication and counselling skills.
Compassionate, patient, and child-friendly approach.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary dental team.
