About Telawne
Telawne Power Equipments Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of power and distribution transformers, serving various industrial, commercial, and utility sectors. We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Senior Executive – Purchase to manage procurement activities and ensure uninterrupted material availability for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement of materials required for transformer manufacturing.
- Source and procure CRGO steel, copper, aluminum, transformer oil, insulation materials, bushings, tap changers, hardware, and other electrical components.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
- Issue Purchase Orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, and Accounts departments.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality and delivery compliance.
- Track inventory levels and support cost optimization initiatives.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and MIS reports.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Qualification
- Graduate in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
- Professional certification in Procurement/Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement.
- Mandatory experience in Transformer Manufacturing, Electrical Equipment Manufacturing, Switchgear, Power Equipment, or related industries.
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of transformer raw materials and electrical components.
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication, analytical, and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
