Job Overview
Sapience Publications is looking for a dynamic, responsible, and experienced Accountant & Administrator to oversee the organization's accounting, administrative, operational, logistics, and record management functions. The ideal candidate must possess strong expertise in Tally ERP 9, financial management, office administration, and operational coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & Finance
- Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally ERP 9.
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, vouchers, receipts, and payments.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Coordinate GST, TDS, payroll processing, and statutory compliance.
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government authorities when required.
Administration & Operations
- Manage and oversee day-to-day office administration and operational activities.
- Maintain and organize all company records, files, agreements, and documentation.
- Ensure proper record maintenance and document control systems.
- Coordinate office facilities, infrastructure, and maintenance requirements.
- Supervise procurement, vendor management, and office supplies.
- Manage logistics, dispatches, courier operations, inventory movement, and transportation arrangements.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operational workflow.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain data accuracy.
- Monitor staff attendance, administrative records, and office compliance requirements.
- Assist management in implementing operational procedures and administrative controls.
- Handle correspondence, official communications, and follow-ups with clients, vendors, and service providers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts and Administration.
- Strong hands-on experience in Tally ERP 9 (Mandatory).
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, payroll processing, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and office software.
- Strong organizational, record-keeping, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to independently manage accounts, administration, logistics, and operational activities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
