1. Vehicle Sourcing & Placement
· Source and arrange vehicles for last-mile operations on time.
· Handle placement of DCD and Non-DCD vehicles as per operational requirements.
· Coordinate with transport vendors for daily vehicle availability.
· Ensure timely dispatch and smooth movement of shipments.
· Manage urgent and priority vehicle requirements efficiently.
2. Vendor Development & Management
· Develop and maintain a strong vendor network across Bangalore.
· Source all categories of vehicles including smaller vehicles, LCVs, and 32 ft trucks.
· Negotiate competitive market rates with transport vendors.
· Monitor vendor performance and service quality.
· Build long-term relationships with reliable transport partners.
3. Cost Control & Profitability
· Optimize transportation costs and improve GP margins.
· Analyze market freight rates and identify cost-saving opportunities.
· Reduce detention, delay, and idle vehicle costs.
· Ensure effective route and vehicle utilization.
· Support management in achieving operational profitability targets.
4. POD & Billing Coordination
· Ensure timely collection of PODs from drivers and vendors.
· Coordinate with customers and internal teams for POD closure.
· Support accurate and timely billing processes.
· Maintain proper shipment and billing documentation.
· Follow up on pending PODs and billing discrepancies.
5. MIS & Operational Reporting
· Prepare and maintain daily operational MIS reports.
· Share internal and customer-related reports accurately and on time.
· Track vehicle utilization, delivery status, and operational KPIs.
· Maintain operational data and records systematically.
· Support management with analytical and operational reports.
6. Customer & Team Coordination
· Develop strong relationships with key customers for smooth operations.
· Handle customer queries and operational escalations promptly.
· Coordinate with warehouse, operations, and transport teams effectively.
· Ensure adherence to company SOPs and operational standards.
· Support in building and developing a high-performing operations team.
Pay: ₹20,870.46 - ₹30,040.66 per month
