Position: AutoCAD Draftsman / Designer
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and technically proficient AutoCAD Draftsman / Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, developing 3D visualizations, supporting project execution, conducting site visits, coordinating with clients and contractors, and contributing to the company's marketing and presentation requirements.
The role offers exposure to premium architectural projects and provides opportunities to work closely with leading architects, designers, developers, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities1. Technical Design & Drafting
- Read, interpret, and analyze architectural, landscape, interior, and construction drawings received from architects, consultants, and clients.
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings, shop drawings, working drawings, layout plans, section details, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings.
- Develop technical detailing for:
- Wood Deck Flooring
- Exterior & Interior Wood Cladding
- Pergolas & Gazebos
- Facade Systems
- Stair Treads
- Ceiling Applications
- Screening & Louvers
- Customized Architectural Wood Solutions
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, clients, and internal teams to resolve technical design requirements.
- Prepare quantity take-offs, material calculations, BOQs, and project estimates based on approved drawings.
- Maintain drawing revisions and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and site requirements.
2. 3D Visualization & Rendering
- Develop accurate 3D models using SketchUp and related visualization software.
- Create realistic renders and presentation visuals for client approvals and design proposals.
- Generate multiple design options showcasing various wood species, finishes, patterns, and installation concepts.
- Produce both 2D and 3D views for decks, cladding systems, facades, pergolas, and custom applications.
- Prepare presentation drawings, mood boards, and concept sheets for architects and developers.
- Assist the sales team with project presentations and design proposals.
3. Site Visits, Coordination & Project Execution
- Conduct site visits for measurements, site verification, and assessment of project conditions.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, carpenters, fabricators, installers, and site supervisors during project execution.
- Ensure installations are carried out in accordance with approved shop drawings, technical details, and design intent.
- Monitor project progress and verify that execution matches approved renders and design specifications.
- Identify site challenges and provide practical design and detailing solutions.
- Prepare site measurement reports, progress reports, and execution updates.
- Support project planning, material scheduling, and coordination activities.
- Conduct periodic quality inspections to ensure workmanship and finishing standards are maintained.
- Assist in final project inspections, snag rectification, and project handovers.
- Travel to project sites within Bengaluru and other cities as required.
4. Marketing, Content & Creative Support
- Design project presentations, product presentations, brochures, and technical documentation.
- Create visual content for social media, digital marketing campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Develop graphics, creatives, and marketing materials for wood products and completed projects.
- Create and edit short-form videos, reels, project walkthroughs, and installation videos.
- Assist in maintaining the company's project portfolio and visual content library.
- Support branding initiatives through design and content development.
Software Skills Required
- AutoCAD (Mandatory)
- SketchUp (Mandatory)
- V-Ray / Enscape / Lumion or equivalent rendering software
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Premiere Pro / Canva / Video Editing Software
- Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint

Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, Construction Technology, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, architectural visualization, interior design, facade detailing, or related fields.
- Experience in wood products, decking, cladding, facades, landscape projects, interiors, or architectural products will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of site execution and construction practices is preferred.
