Role Overview
The Manager – Sales & Business Development will be responsible for driving business growth, identifying new opportunities, and developing strategic client relationships in the Bio-Fuel and Green Chemistry domain. The role focuses on revenue generation, client acquisition, proposal development, and expanding the organization's presence across government, private, and industrial sectors.
1. Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in biofuels, green chemistry, and renewable energy sectors.
- Generate leads and convert opportunities into successful projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and government agencies.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Engage with existing and prospective clients to understand business requirements.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, technical proposals, and commercial bids.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure successful closure of business opportunities.
- Maintain long-term client relationships and identify repeat business opportunities.
3. Proposal & Tender Management
- Lead preparation of proposals, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), RFPs, and tender submissions.
- Coordinate with technical teams for solution development and costing.
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals.
4. Market Research & Strategy
- Monitor industry trends, government policies, and emerging opportunities in biofuels and green chemicals.
- Conduct competitor analysis and identify potential markets.
- Develop business development strategies to expand the company's market presence.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with project execution and technical teams for seamless project handover.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and timely project delivery.
- Support marketing initiatives, industry events, conferences, and networking activities.
Key Skills & Competencies
- 3–5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Consulting, or Key Account Management.
- Experience in Renewable Energy, Biofuels, Green Chemistry, Sustainability, or related sectors is preferred.
- Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal writing abilities.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple business opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (Chemical, Energy, Environmental, Agriculture, Biotechnology, or related discipline).
- Master's degree/MBA in Marketing, Energy Management, Environmental Management, or a related specialization is preferred.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
