Required Skills
Mandatory experience with Husky Injection Moulding Machines.
Strong experience in Production, Maintenance and Quality functions.
Strong knowledge of plant operations, manufacturing processes and production planning.
Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Strong leadership, manpower management and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of quality systems, safety standards and continuous improvement practices.
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage and oversee complete plant operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
Plan, monitor and achieve production targets while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
Lead and manage the Production, Maintenance and Quality teams.
Ensure efficient operation and optimum utilization of Husky Injection Moulding Machines.
Monitor machine performance, downtime, OEE and implement measures to improve machine efficiency.
Ensure effective execution of preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
Monitor product quality, rejection levels and customer requirements.
Coordinate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, Stores and other departments for smooth plant operations.
Manage manpower planning, shift allocation and workforce productivity.
Identify opportunities for reducing wastage, downtime and production costs.
Drive 5S, Kaizen, TPM, Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with EHS, safety and statutory requirements.
Analyze plant KPIs including production, OEE, rejection, downtime, wastage and maintenance performance.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production, quality and machine-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure timely completion of production and maintenance improvement projects.
Handle internal/customer audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Prepare and present regular plant performance reports to senior management.
Develop strategies for improving overall plant productivity, quality, cost and operational efficiency.
