We are looking for a dynamic professional who can drive cross-functional coordination and ensure seamless execution of sales orders.
Role Overview
The Fabric Planning & Program Manager will be responsible for end-to-end execution alignment of confirmed orders — ensuring proper yarn availability, loom allocation, production planning, cost monitoring, and on-time delivery.
This role works closely with Yarn, Production, Processing, and Sales teams and reports directly to the Managing Director.
The position carries cross-functional coordination authority (without direct departmental reporting).
Key Responsibilities
Order Planning & Execution
- Review confirmed sales orders and translate them into structured execution plans
- Prepare Time & Action (T&A) calendars
- Identify execution risks at planning stage
Yarn & Raw Material Coordination
- Align with Yarn team on availability and consumption planning
- Monitor raw material readiness against production schedules
- Escalate risks that may impact timelines
Loom Allocation & Capacity Planning
- Plan internal loom allocation based on order priority
- Monitor capacity utilization and overload risks
- Recommend adjustments to optimize efficiency
External Vendor Coordination
- Plan and monitor external vendor allocation when required
- Ensure timely execution of outsourced production
Production Monitoring
- Track production progress regularly
- Identify bottlenecks early
- Drive alignment discussions across departments
Cost & Margin Monitoring
- Monitor yarn consumption and wastage trends
- Track cost deviations against plan
- Highlight potential margin risks to management
Inventory & Dead Stock Control
- Monitor leftover fabric and raw material
- Identify slow-moving inventory
- Support working capital optimization initiatives
Reporting & Escalation
- Maintain structured program dashboard
- Provide weekly execution and risk reports
- Escalate unresolved issues proactively

Candidate Profile:
Experience
- 6–10 years in textile mill or fabric manufacturing environment
- Experience in production planning / merchandising / mill coordination roles
- Exposure to loom capacity planning and yarn consumption logic preferred
