Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and target-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead business growth for our Solar Division. The candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, generating high-value business opportunities, managing key accounts, leading the sales team, and driving revenue growth across residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Identify and acquire new clients in the residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, consultants, EPC contractors, builders, and channel partners.
- Lead negotiations, prepare commercial proposals, and close high-value deals.
- Guide and mentor the Business Development team to improve sales performance.
- Coordinate with the technical, design, and project execution teams for site surveys, project planning, and timely execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and government solar policies to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and business performance reports for management.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term client relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in Business Development/Sales, preferably in the Solar, Renewable Energy, Electrical, or EPC industry.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
- Knowledge of solar products, EPC projects, and government subsidy schemes will be an added advantage.
