Role Objective:
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Development Engineer to lead our end-to-end product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming engineering drawings into market-ready products, ensuring full compliance with international standards (EN/CE) and rigorous automotive-grade quality core tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Project Management: Single-handedly manage development projects from initial drawing review and feasibility studies to sample development and final customer submission.
- Quality Documentation: Prepare and manage the full suite of quality core tools: APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, Control Plans, and PFMEA.
- Process Engineering: Oversee diverse manufacturing processes including Machining, Moulding, Welding, Stamping, and Forging.
- Standards & Compliance: Ensure all products (specifically Electrode Holders, Earth Clamps, and Electrode Ovens) meet EN and CE standards.
- Testing & Validation: Conduct and supervise specific testing protocols, including TRT (Temperature Rise Test), heating efficiency, and insulation resistance.
- Cross-Functional Expertise: Apply basic mechanical, chemical, and electrical testing knowledge to troubleshoot and optimize product performance.
Required Technical Skills:
- Quality Tools - Expert level: APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, PFMEA, & Control Plan
- Manufacturing - Stamping, Forging, Machining, Plastic/Rubber Moulding, Welding.
- Standards - Deep familiarity with EN and CE for welding accessories and ovens.
- Technical Testing - TRT (Temperature Rise), Insulation testing, and Mechanical/Chemical validation
- Thermal/Electrical - Understanding of heating elements, insulation materials, and electrical safety parameters.
- Documentation: Ability to create clear work instructions and process flow charts, Control plan, PFMEA, SOP, WI, Quality Alert for the shop floor.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experience: 5–8 years in New Product Development (NPD), preferably in the welding equipment or electrical components industry

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
