About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and innovative Executive / Sr. Executive – R&D to join our Product Development team. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in cosmetic formulation and product innovation who are eager to create high-quality skincare, haircare, personal care, and fragrance products.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new formulations, conducting product trials, ensuring product quality, and supporting customized product development for clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Development
- Develop innovative formulations for skincare, haircare, personal care, and fragrance products.
- Conduct formulation trials for creams, lotions, serums, shampoos, conditioners, face washes, perfumes, and related products.
- Prepare laboratory and pilot-scale batches for new product development.
- Optimize formulations to ensure performance, stability, and cost efficiency.
Research & Innovation
- Research emerging cosmetic ingredients, market trends, and new technologies.
- Evaluate and qualify new raw materials from suppliers.
- Maintain technical data, formulation specifications, and ingredient documentation.
- Support product customization based on client requirements and market demands.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Conduct stability testing, compatibility testing, and product evaluations.
- Maintain accurate formulation records and laboratory documentation.
- Investigate and troubleshoot formulation and production-related challenges.
- Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Regulatory teams to ensure product compliance and performance standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in cosmetic, personal care, pharmaceutical, or FMCG product development.
- Hands-on experience in formulation development for skincare, haircare, personal care, or fragrance products.
- Strong understanding of cosmetic raw materials, formulation techniques, and stability testing.
- Knowledge of cosmetic industry regulations and quality standards is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
