Key Responsibilities
- Conduct periodic audits of accounts, financial records, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review purchase, production, and sales cycles for control gaps, leakages, and process deviations.
- Perform inventory verification of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, dyes, and chemicals, including reconciliation with ERP.
- Monitor statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF/ESI, labour laws, Factory Act) and highlight non‑compliance risks.
- Analyse material consumption, wastage, and production efficiency to identify abnormal variances.
- Validate vendor payments, payroll processing, and expense claims against policies and approvals.
- Prepare analytical reports covering key ratios, trend analysis, ageing, and exception summaries.
- Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements for operational efficiency and cost optimisation.
- Track and report non‑conformities, follow up on corrective actions, and maintain audit documentation.
- Present monthly audit findings to management with actionable insights and risk‑mitigation recommendations.
