Full Stack Developer — AssistHealth Platform

About the Role
We're looking for a Full Stack Developer who can build across frontend, backend, databases, cloud infrastructure, and modern AI integrations. You'll help develop AssistHealth, a healthcare continuity platform that manages sensitive medical records, digital prescriptions, subscriptions, and payment workflows.
You'll work directly with product and business stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable, production-ready software while using modern AI-assisted development practices.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
- Build responsive user interfaces using React.js, Next.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Develop backend services using Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, and modern API design principles.
- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Build secure authentication and authorization systems (JWT, OAuth, Role-Based Access Control).
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Lambda, IAM, Route53 or equivalent cloud platforms).
- Build AI-powered features using modern LLM APIs and AI frameworks.
- Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using embeddings, vector databases, and document retrieval.
- Integrate AI agents and agentic workflows for automation, customer support, and internal productivity.
- Work with vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, ChromaDB, or similar technologies.
- Integrate OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or equivalent LLM APIs.
- Use AI coding tools daily (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, etc.) while maintaining ownership of architecture, correctness, testing, and code quality.
- Participate directly in client and stakeholder discussions to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Handle sensitive healthcare and financial data while following secure software development practices.
- Integrate third-party APIs including payment gateways (PhonePe, Razorpay, Stripe), messaging services, and healthcare services.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with proper documentation.
- Follow structured engineering processes including Git workflows, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, sprint planning, and release management.
- Troubleshoot production issues across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and databases through systematic root cause analysis.
