We are looking for a motivated and community-driven Block Program Officer to support girls' education and enrolment initiatives at the block level. You will work directly with communities, schools, and government stakeholders to drive enrolment, improve learning outcomes, and build strong local support systems.
Key responsibilities
Identify and mainstream out-of-school girls (age 6–14) through door-to-door surveys, home visits, and community enrolment plans
Organise community meetings — Gram Shiksha Sabha, Ma Beti Sammelan, Mohalla Meetings — to drive school enrolment and parent participation
Deliver GKP curriculum, conduct baseline/endline assessments, and facilitate Bal Sabha and life skills programs.
Form and orient School Management Committees (SMCs); prepare and follow up on School Improvement Plans (SIPs).
Liaise with government officials, Sarpanch, headmasters and local functionaries; provide monthly/quarterly progress updates.
Maintain daily documentation, update reports on PMS/Spine, track budget utilisation, and manage risk
