Job Description:
NRS AS, a leader in bridge construction equipment, is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Foreman. As an ITI-qualified professional, you will be responsible for maintaining and rectifying machinery critical to our operations, including cranes, Goliath Cranes, and Launching Gantries. Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive maintenance on critical equipment like cranes, Goliath cranes, and launching gantries.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, ensuring timely repairs and minimizing downtime.
- Oversee and participate in equipment repairs, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and ensure spare parts inventory is well-stocked.
- Collaborate with construction crews and engineers to identify equipment needs and provide technical support.
- Foster a culture of safety awareness and ensure all team members adhere to safe work practices.
Qualifications:
- ITI Diploma in a relevant field (Fitter, Electrician, Mechanic) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, preferably in a construction environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- A valid Indian driving license (optional, but a plus).
