The Mechanical Engineer will maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot automated machinery unique to mattress and foam production. This includes massive chemical batching/pouring lines, continuous block cutting saws, CNC contour cutters, mattress quilting setups, and automatic compression/rolling packaging machines.

Key Responsibilities
- Specialized Asset Maintenance: Plan and execute Preventive, Predictive, and Breakdown Maintenance schedules for foam pouring machinery, heavy-duty hydraulic presses, conveyor systems, and CNC foam cutters.
- Pneumatic & Hydraulic Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex air pressure and fluid power failures on automated compression and roll-packing machines rapidly to avoid bottlenecking the dispatch line.
- Line Optimization & CAD: Draft tool modifications and layout alterations using CAD software (AutoCAD / SolidWorks) to improve ergonomics and material flow of heavy foam blocks.
- Spares Management: Maintain an optimal inventory of high-wear mechanical spares (e.g., band-saw blades, cutting wires, pneumatic valves, spray nozzles).
- LOTO Compliance: Ensure all maintenance tasks adhere strictly to Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) safety protocols, especially when working inside high-risk cutting or mixing zones.
Qualifications & Competencies
- B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience handling CNC machinery, automation systems, and heavy material handling equipment.
