Job Summary
The Blue Collar Recruiter is responsible for the recruitment and placement of blue-collar candidates for various roles within the organization. This position involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand their workforce needs, developing effective recruitment strategies, and ensuring a seamless hiring process for positions in manufacturing, construction, and other labor-intensive fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Sourcing:
- Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to attract qualified blue-collar candidates.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and community outreach.
- Create job postings that clearly define job responsibilities, qualifications, and benefits to attract the right candidates.
- Candidate Screening and Evaluation:
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct phone screenings and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and fit with the company culture.
- Administer skills assessments or tests (when applicable) to ensure candidates meet the technical requirements of the position.
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand specific staffing needs and create tailored recruitment strategies.
- Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and make recommendations based on candidate pools and market trends.
- Onboarding Coordination:
- Assist with the onboarding process, including coordinating orientations and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Provide candidates with information about the organization, job expectations, and workplace culture.
- Candidate Relationship Management:
- Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.
- Build and maintain relationships with a network of candidates for future job opportunities.
- Market Research and Reporting:
- Monitor industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive hiring practices to improve recruiting strategies.
- Prepare reports on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, candidate source effectiveness, and diverse hiring efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- [3] years of recruiting experience, with a focus on blue-collar positions strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of blue-collar job markets and labor trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers alike.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
