Position Overview
We are seeking a highly creative and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about digital marketing, content creation, storytelling, and brand building. The intern will work closely with our team to create engaging content and execute social media campaigns for various clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
- Develop engaging captions, stories, reels, and short-form video content.
- Design social media creatives using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools.
- Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns for clients.
- Monitor social media channels and engage with audiences through comments and messages.
- Research industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging digital marketing practices.
- Analyze social media performance and prepare periodic reports.
- Support influencer marketing initiatives and online community-building activities.
- Collaborate with the team on branding and marketing strategies.
- Assist in video editing and content repurposing for different platforms.
Eligibility Criteria
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Visual Communication, Political Science, Journalism, English Literature, or related fields.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Passion for social media, branding, content creation, and digital marketing.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
- Proficiency in Canva or other design tools is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with video editing tools such as CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and performance tracking.
- Understanding of SEO and digital advertising is an added advantage.
