Education : ITI / Mechanical engineering knowledge or equivalent degree or diploma.
Key Responsibilities
- Facility Inspections: Routinely inspect buildings, dining floors, and showroom fixtures for structural damage, wear, and safety hazards.
- System Evaluations: Check mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems for deficiencies and ensure efficient, safe operations.
- Equipment Audits: Evaluate commercial kitchen appliances and display equipment to verify they are properly calibrated, clean, and functioning.
- Compliance Assurance: Verify all areas meet local building codes, fire safety regulations, and public health standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Log inspection findings, prepare detailed reports, and issue maintenance work orders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems in a commercial environment.
- Regulatory Awareness: Knowledge of local safety regulations, building codes, and FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) guidelines.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot minor maintenance needs and safety impacts before they escalate into emergencies.
- Communication Skills: Ability to coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and restaurant management regarding necessary repairs.
