About the Role
HDB Financial Services is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Supervisor – Collection Services to lead and manage a team of collection executives. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership abilities, in-depth knowledge of domestic collections, and the capability to drive team performance while ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
The role involves coaching team members, monitoring daily collection activities, maintaining operational reports, handling escalations, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and collection agencies to achieve business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the collections team to consistently achieve business targets.
- Conduct on-the-job product and process training for new joiners.
- Monitor caller performance and provide continuous coaching and feedback.
- Review team performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Manage team attendance and absenteeism to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
- Build a high-performance and target-driven work environment.
Operations & Performance Management
- Maintain accurate MIS reports for the allocated collection pool.
- Track collection activities and monitor individual and team productivity.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to maximize recoveries.
- Identify critical and high-risk customer accounts and take appropriate action.
- Handle customer escalations and resolve complex collection-related issues professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and collection guidelines.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with Bank Field Recovery Personnel (FPRs) for collection activities.
- Send pick-up files to FPRs in a timely manner.
- Work closely with collection agencies to improve operational efficiency.
- Liaise with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth business operations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in Domestic Collections, with prior team handling experience preferred.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MIS reporting.
- Sound understanding of domestic collections processes and recovery operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
