Looking for a highly skilled and experienced L2 Onsite AV Service Engineer to manage, support, and troubleshoot audio-visual systems at the client site. The ideal candidate will also coordinate and manage AV logistics for high-profile events, town halls, and board meetings. This role requires technical expertise, hands-on troubleshooting ability, and strong interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
AV Support & Operations:
- Provide Level 2 support for AV systems including video conferencing (Zoom, MS Teams, Cisco Webex), projectors, displays, microphones, speakers, signal processors, and control systems.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolution of AV issues in conference rooms, boardrooms, huddle spaces, and auditoriums.
- Coordinate with OEMs or vendors for hardware/service escalations if required.
- Conduct daily health checks of AV systems and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of AV assets and spares.
Event Support:
- Provide end-to-end support for onsite events, town halls, webinars, leadership presentations, and hybrid meetings.
- Coordinate with event stakeholders to plan and execute AV requirements (lighting, sound, camera setup, streaming).
- Operate AV consoles (Crestron/Extron), mixers, PTZ cameras, and audio systems during live events.
- Provide technical rehearsals and dry runs ahead of major events.
- Troubleshoot on-the-fly issues during live events to ensure zero downtime.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Document incident tickets, resolutions, system configurations, and SOPs.
- Provide post-event and monthly AV performance reports to stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date configuration records for AV infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electronics, Telecommunication, or related field.
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in AV support and event operations.
- In-depth knowledge of AV over IP, HDMI/HDBaseT, Dante audio, etc.
- Familiarity with AV platforms and tools such as Zoom Rooms, MS Teams Rooms, Crestron, Extron, Barco, Polycom, etc.
- Experience with live event support, video streaming, audio mixing, and camera operation.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and during extended or irregular hours (including evenings/weekends for events).
Preferred Certifications (Good to Have):
- CTS / CTS-I (Certified Technology Specialist)
- Crestron/Extron Programming Certifications
- Dante Level I/II
- ITIL Foundation (for incident & service management)
