Your Role: Factory People & Organization Business Partner
As a key member of our People & Organization (P&O) team, you’ll serve as a strategic business partner, leading P&O operations for two major manufacturing facilities in Mumbai, Kalwa Campus. You’ll drive effective industrial relations and support P&O activities across our dynamic location, home to around 1,200 + employees. You may occasionally support broader initiatives.
You’ll collaborate with a wide network of stakeholders including factory managers, location heads, employees, union representatives, government bodies, industry associations, and more.
What You’ll Do

Ensure compliance with local labor laws and statutory requirements through effective audits, governance, and regulatory engagement.

Maintain strong industrial and employee relations, fostering a harmonious workplace environment.

Effectively manage factory unions and operate within unionized work environments.

Lead employee relations strategy, including grievance management and resolution, to ensure a positive shop-floor culture.

Oversee contractor and third-party labor compliance in line with legal and organizational standards.

Drive apprenticeship programs and workforce development initiatives to build a skilled, future-ready workforce.

Represent Siemens in conciliation, labor, and legal matters, including long-term settlement discussions.

Provide strategic guidance to business leaders on P&O policies, disciplinary actions, and workforce management.

Lead P&O initiatives, employee engagement programs, and cultural transformation efforts.

Manage key P&O processes including performance management, workforce planning, rewards, and employee surveys.

Prepare and analyze reports to support data-driven decision-making.
You’ll Bring
- 15+ years of P&O experience with strong leadership exposure in Industrial Relations within manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience in handling factory unions and managing IR in manufacturing setups.
- Strong expertise in Indian labor laws with demonstrated ability to drive compliance frameworks and mitigate risks.
- Proven expertise in negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management.
- An adaptable, innovative mindset open to new technologies and best practices.
- Integrity, credibility, and the ability to build trust with multiple partners.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial set-up is highly desirable; knowledge of Siemens culture is a plus.
