Position: Business Development Manager / Territory Sales Manager

Location: Chhattisgarh (Cluster Coverage – Balrampur, Surajpur, Koriya, Mahasamund)
Role Objective
To drive primary and secondary sales, expand distribution, and strengthen market presence across assigned territories, ensuring achievement of sales targets and channel growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned cluster
- Drive secondary sales through distributors and retail channels
- Ensure availability and visibility of products across outlets
2. Distributor Management
- Appoint and manage distributors in Balrampur, Surajpur, Koriya, and Mahasamund
- Monitor distributor ROI, stock levels, and order cycles
- Ensure timely billing, collections, and stock replenishment
3. Market Expansion
- Identify new business opportunities and expand retail reach
- Increase numeric and weighted distribution
- Develop new outlets and strengthen key accounts
4. Team & Execution
- Work closely with field sales representatives (if applicable)
- Ensure effective route planning and market coverage
- Execute trade schemes, promotions, and branding activities
5. Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and schemes
- Provide regular market feedback and insights
- Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions
Key Requirements
- Experience: 3–5 years in sales (FMCG preferred)
- Industry Preference: FMCG / Food / Spices industry candidates will be preferred
- Education: Graduate (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
- Skills:
- Strong distribution and channel management
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Local market knowledge of assigned districts
- Ability to work independently in a field role
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in handling rural and semi-urban markets
- Strong network with distributors and retailers
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned cluster
Compensation
- As per industry standards (aligned with experience and performance)
Work Location & Coverage
- Base location in Chhattisgarh
- Responsible for Balrampur, Surajpur, Koriya, and Mahasamund territories
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
