We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual who has a strong interest in agriculture and practical farming. The selected person will be responsible for day-to-day farm operations, crop/livestock management, and improving farm productivity. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely loves farming and has hands-on experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily farming activities (crop cultivation, soil preparation, irrigation, planting, harvesting, etc.)
- Supervise farm workers and assign daily tasks
- Monitor crop health, pest control, and disease management
- Handle livestock care (if applicable) – feeding, health monitoring, and breeding
- Maintain farm equipment, tools, and machinery in good condition
- Keep records of production, expenses, and yields
- Implement modern and traditional farming techniques to improve productivity
- Ensure safety standards and good agricultural practices on the farm
- Suggest improvements for better yield and cost control
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven hands-on experience in agriculture farming (minimum 2–3 years preferred)
- Strong practical knowledge of crops, soil, irrigation, and farm management
- Genuine interest and passion for agriculture and farming life
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions and handle physical farm work
- Basic knowledge of farm machinery and tools
- Good communication and leadership skills to manage workers
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new farming methods
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
- Experience with specific crops or livestock relevant to the farm
- Knowledge of organic farming, greenhouse, or modern irrigation systems
- Ability to maintain simple farm records (written or digital)
- Local language proficiency and understanding of regional farming practices
