Job Title: Design Manager – Solar
Location: Mumbai
Department: Engineering / Design
Experience: 4–8 Years (Solar Industry Preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design and engineering of solar PV projects (Rooftop & Utility scale).
- Develop detailed electrical and structural designs using tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and PVsyst.
- Perform system sizing, energy yield analysis, and feasibility studies.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, client specifications, and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including project execution, procurement, and sales.
- Review and approve design drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Optimize project design for cost, efficiency, and performance.
- Provide technical support during project execution and resolve design-related issues.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong experience in Solar Project Design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, PVsyst
- Knowledge of structural analysis (STAAD or equivalent)
- Understanding of electrical systems and solar components
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and team management skills
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy Engineering
Preferred Industry:
Solar EPC / Renewable Energy
