Overview
This role is suited for early-career professionals with a strong technical foundation in instrumentation who are motivated to build a long-term career in technical sales. The position requires active customer engagement, product knowledge development, and consistent achievement of defined sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with industrial and commercial customers.
- Support sales activities by promoting instrumentation products and solutions across assigned industry segments.
- Conduct structured technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution briefings.
- Analyze customer technical requirements and recommend appropriate instrumentation products and applications.
- Handle customer inquiries with accurate technical and commercial responses in a timely manner.
- Assist with pre-sales and post-sales technical support in coordination with engineering and service teams.
- Prepare and maintain sales activity reports, forecasts, and basic market analysis.
- Track market developments, competitor activity, and customer feedback for internal review.
- Work toward achieving assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical or a related technical field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in instrumentation sales, technical sales, or application support within industrial environments.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of instrumentation products, applications, and industry practices.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them effectively to customers.
- Good verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within a sales-focused role.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to travel locally for customer meetings and site visits.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
