Are you a results-driven FMCG sales professional who knows how to own a territory and build powerful retail relationships? Asian Green is looking for a Modern Trade Sales Officer to lead our presence across Ernakulam's top supermarkets, hypermarkets, and organized retail chains.
Key Responsibilities
.Manage and grow modern trade accounts across supermarkets, hypermarkets, and retail chains in Ernakulam district
. Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers, category managers, and purchasing teams
. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management
. Ensure product availability, shelf visibility, stock rotation, and proper merchandising across all outlets
. Plan and execute in-store promotions, branding initiatives, and product placements
. Track competitor activity, pricing trends, and market developments
. Submit regular sales reports and market feedback to management
. Identify and onboard new retail accounts to expand distribution within organized trade
. Coordinate with distributors and internal teams for smooth order fulfillment and timely replenishment
Requirements
. Minimum 2 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in Modern Trade
. Hands-on experience handling supermarkets, hypermarkets, or organized retail chains
. Strong communication, negotiation, and account management skills
. Ability to independently manage territory operations and consistently meet targets
. Good understanding of retail merchandising and sales planning
. Comfortable with reporting and basic market analysis
. Valid driving license and own two-wheeler required
Preferred
. Experience in the food or food FMCG sector is a strong advantage
. Graduate in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
