Job Title: Retail Manager
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Retail Manager to oversee the overall operations of the showroom/store. The role involves leading a team of Assistant Managers and Sales Executives, driving sales performance, ensuring exceptional customer experience, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and customer retention.
- Monitor showroom performance and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Analyze sales reports and market trends to improve profitability.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Assistant Managers and Sales Executives.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular reviews.
- Ensure proper manpower planning and staff scheduling.
- Train and motivate the team to enhance productivity and customer service standards.
Customer Experience
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and prompt resolution of customer complaints.
- Build long-term customer relationships and promote repeat business.
- Maintain superior customer service standards across the showroom.
Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day showroom operations and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate with various departments for smooth business functioning.
- Ensure proper stock availability and inventory control.
- Monitor billing, documentation, and process compliance.
- Maintain visual merchandising and overall store appearance.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and review sales MIS and performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Monitor operational costs and improve efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate/MBA preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in retail sales and showroom operations.
- Experience in handling and developing teams of Assistant Managers and Sales Executives.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and retail management systems.
