Position Summary
As a Business Development Executive Intern, you will work closely with our core business development and sales teams to unlock new growth channels. This role blends strategic market analysis with active outbound prospecting. You will gain hands-on experience navigating the B2B sales pipeline, executing inside sales strategies, and utilizing modern lead generation platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify, target, and qualify high-potential B2B leads using specialized tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, databases, and market research.
- Outbound Outreach: Initiate contact with prospective clients through cold calling, structured email marketing campaigns, and professional networking.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing competitor analysis and market research to map out emerging trends and identify fresh avenues for business expansion.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized sales pipeline, tracking customer interactions, engagement metrics, and follow-ups systematically.
- Pitching & Presentation: Assist in drafting customized proposals, pitch decks, and commercial materials, eventually participating in discovery calls or client presentations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal tech, marketing, and operations teams to align client requirements with Spotmies’ product and service offerings.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration (BBA/MBA), Marketing, or a related field.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to convince and articulate value propositions clearly.
- Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills; a natural comfort with cold outreach and building professional rapport.
- Technical Familiarity: Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint). Familiarity with CRMs or outbound automation tools is a significant plus.
- Mindset: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly adaptable with a strong desire to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
