Senior ServiceNow Developer
The Senior ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting enterprise ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules. The role involves building scalable applications, automating business processes, integrating enterprise systems, and ensuring platform best practices while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality ServiceNow solutions.
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.
- Develop and configure Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Background Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Scoped Applications.
- Create and maintain Catalog Items, Record Producers, Workflows, and Flow Designer automations.
- Develop custom applications, custom tables, and reusable ServiceNow components.
- Implement and customize ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, Employee Center, and Mobile applications.
- Develop and consume REST and SOAP Web Services using Integration Hub and ServiceNow APIs.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform platform upgrades, troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, and production support.
- Ensure solutions comply with ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, governance, and security guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, Agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform development and customization.

- Strong understanding of ServiceNow best practices, architecture, and platform governance.
- Active ITIL v4 Certification.
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ServiceNow App Engine Studio (AES).
- Knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Experience with ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) frameworks.
- Exposure to ServiceNow AI, Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, or GenAI capabilities.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Source Control, and Git integration.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or additional ServiceNow certifications are an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
