Location: Chandivali, Andheri (East), Mumbai – 400072
Salary: ₹70,000 – ₹1,50,000 per month
Experience Required: 15 to 20 years
About the Company
We are a growing insurance company looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance and accounts operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing all financial activities, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth through effective financial planning and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire Finance and Accounts Department.
- Coordinate with the accounts team to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations.
- Monitor and review all financial transactions, records, and reports.
- Prepare financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and business strategies.
- Track policy counts, premium collections, and revenue reports.
- Ensure proper maintenance of financial records and documentation.
- Visit clients whenever required for financial discussions and collection follow-ups.
- Review cash flow, payments, receivables, and outstanding collections.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for business growth.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, taxation, and audit requirements.
- Supervise and guide the finance team to achieve organizational goals.
- Coordinate with different departments to maintain financial accuracy and transparency.
- Monitor all company expenses and optimize financial performance.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, taxation, and auditing.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in financial planning and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of insurance industry operations will be preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to manage large volumes of financial data and transactions.
Qualifications
- CA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com / equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 10–20 years of experience in finance and accounts management.
- Experience in the insurance sector will be an added advantage.
