Job Opening – AC Technician (Industrial Chillers)
Position: AC Technician
Location: Coimbatore
Qualification:
- Diploma / B.E. (Mechanical / Electrical / EEE / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)
Experience:
Salary:
- ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience and skills)
Job Responsibilities:
- Installation, commissioning, and servicing of industrial water chillers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical faults in chillers.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial chillers and related cooling equipment.
- Check and maintain compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, control panels, and refrigeration circuits.
- Detect refrigerant leaks, carry out gas charging/recovery, and ensure proper system performance.
- Monitor operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow to optimize chiller efficiency.
- Prepare service reports and maintain maintenance records.
- Provide on-site technical support and attend customer service calls when required.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical control circuits, and industrial cooling systems.
- Familiarity with compressors, refrigerants, pumps, heat exchangers, and PLC/control panels is an added advantage.
- Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and troubleshoot equipment.
- Willingness to travel for installation and service activities.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
