Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, highly skilled Playwright Automation Tester with 6–11 years of overall experience and strong expertise in web application testing, automation frameworks, and system analysis. The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on experience in Playwright , TypeScript/JavaScript, and BDD practices. This role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust quality standards and reliable test coverage.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (preferred).
Web automation testing via Selenium
Develop and execute test cases for web applications across functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
Participate in requirements analysis, identify test scenarios, and contribute to test strategy and planning.
Implement and maintain BDD frameworks using tools like Cucumber.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Perform thorough manual testing where required, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
Conduct system analysis to identify gaps, risks, and potential improvements.
Troubleshoot test failures, analyze root causes, and drive fixes.
Ensure continuous integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Prepare test reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
Professional & Technical Skills:

- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and tools.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
- Ability to design and implement test cases for various application layers.
- Familiarity with performance testing and security testing methodologies.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Automated playwright Testing
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
